The Outpost - Your Stay in Pafuri Gate

The Outpost offers free-standing suites with 180-degree views of the Northern Kruger landscape. Each suite is open on three sides with motorized blinds for privacy. Rooms include a coffee machine, minibar, fridge, and a private bathroom with a bath and shower. Some suites overlook the Luvuvhu River. Note: there is no air conditioning; the design relies on natural breezes.

An à la carte breakfast is served daily. The on-site restaurant offers African, American, and French cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free, and vegan options are available. Guests can enjoy meals at the lodge's restaurant or request a private boma dinner.

The Outpost includes two daily game drives in the Makuleke Contract Park, known for diverse wildlife and birding. Guests can also hike the trails or join walking tours about local culture. The spa provides massages (back, foot, full body, etc.), an open-air bath, and a rooftop swimming pool with sun loungers. The pool bar serves drinks.

The lodge is situated in the Makuleke Contractual Park, 10 km from Pafuri Gate. It offers exclusive access to the northern part of Kruger National Park, near the Luvuvhu River and baobab forests. The area is malaria-free. Game drives cover remote corners with stunning views of fever tree forests and Lanner Gorge.

The Outpost provides free Wi-Fi and private parking. Airport shuttle is available for a fee. Services include express check-in/check-out, luggage storage, safety deposit boxes, and 24-hour security. Guests can request laundry, ironing, and packed lunches. The staff can arrange special dietary menus. The hotel is adults-only and wheelchair accessible.
